Project Background
For the ZIMMERMANN boutique located in HKRI Taikoo Hui, Shanghai, we provided the lighting for the brand’s unique, textured artistic façade.
The design required a solution that could evenly wash the entire wall surface from top to bottom, accentuating its three-dimensional textural details. The goal was to create a soft, warm, and artistic visual effect while perfectly concealing the light fixtures to match the brand’s sophisticated and elegant image.
Our Solution
To achieve this objective, we utilized the SP-19203-M2842 linear wall washer for the project. The technical features of this product provided critical support for its success:
Precise Beam Angle (15*45°):
This specialized asymmetric beam angle is ideal for evenly casting light across the wall from a limited setback distance. It ensures full vertical coverage while precisely grazing the wall’s texture, maximizing the appearance of its depth and dimension.
Warm Color Temperature (2700K):
This creates a warm, inviting, and high-end atmosphere that perfectly complements the romantic and gentle aesthetic of the ZIMMERMANN luxury fashion brand.
Excellent Color Rendering (CRI Ra≥90):
This ensures that the true color and texture of the façade material are rendered faithfully and delicately.
Flexible Adjustment & Installation:
The fixture’s body can be rotated 90 degrees, allowing for precise on-site fine-tuning to achieve the optimal wall-washing effect. Its slender structural dimensions (W38.5*H51.5mm) also allow it to be easily concealed within the recessed ceiling structure, achieving the subtle aesthetic of “seeing the light, not the source.”
Project Outcome
The implementation of this lighting solution successfully transformed the ZIMMERMANN boutique’s façade into a visual centerpiece at night. The light accurately highlights the wall’s artistic texture, creating a rhythmic interplay of light and shadow that significantly enhanced the brand’s artistic appeal. The resulting warm and elegant luminous environment not only increased the boutique’s recognizability but also perfectly conveyed ZIMMERMANN’s core values of elegance and sophistication.
